Banggar-TAPD Synchronize Perception on Regional Budget Draft Regulation 2026

The Jakarta City Council Budget Agency (Banggar) held a meeting with the Jakarta Provincial Government's Regional Budget Team (TAPD) to align perceptions regarding the Regional Regulation Draft (Raperda) on the Jakarta Regional Budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year.

The meeting was attended by all leaders of the Jakarta City Council, the Jakarta Regional Secretary, who is also the Head of the TAPD, Marullah Matali, and his staff, in the City Council Plenary Meeting Room, Monday (10/20). The meeting was officially opened by Jakarta City Council Chairman, Khoirudin.

Khoirudin explained that this meeting was a follow-up to discussions regarding changes to budget allocations following cuts to the Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH) by the central government.

"Input from discussions at the commission and Budget Committee levels becomes the basis for aligning perceptions between the legislative and executive," he said.

He hopes that the Jakarta Regional Budget 2026 discussion process will run effectively and produce policies that favor the community.

"We want the City Budget to be prepared with the principles of efficiency and transparency, and the results to be truly felt by the residents of Jakarta," he emphasized.

This meeting is an important momentum to strengthen coordination, ensure clarity in the direction of fiscal policy, and ensure that the Jakarta Regional Budget is compiled in an accountable manner and in the public interest.
